This 32 Smart Fire TV Is Now Cheaper Than Your Grandma’s Antique TV, Amazon’s Nearly Giving It Away

Insignia might be Best Buy’s house brand, but these TVs have become Amazon’s best-selling models year after year. The value proposition is hard to beat, especially if you’re shopping for HD or Full HD displays. Amazon just slashed nearly 50% off the 32-inch Class F20 (HD) model for October Prime Day, bringing it down to a new record low of $69, compared to its regular $129 price. This pricing makes it the most accessible smart TVs available right now.

Fire TV Integrated Directly into Your Screen
Integration with the Amazon Fire TV platform gives you instant access to over 1.5 million movies and TV show episodes via thousands of streaming apps and channels. Prime Video, Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, YouTube, Apple TV+, Disney+, ESPN+ and Paramount+ all connect seamlessly within the system. You can also attach Alexa skills for additional functionality, control playback from vocal instructions and switch streaming services without fumbling for multiple remotes or external gear.
The 32-inch display operates at 720p HD resolution at 60Hz refresh rate. Although this is below Full HD 1080p, this becomes less distinguishable at this screen size, particularly from the average viewing distances of six to eight feet. The 720p resolution maintains the processing demand low and still ensures smooth operation when running menus or switching apps. For bedroom applications, kitchen countertops, college dorm rooms or second viewing rooms, the resolution delivers crisp pictures without calling for the processing that higher resolution necessitates.
DTS Virtual:X creates simulated surround sound from the TV’s built-in speakers by processing audio to add spatial dimension. This technology analyzes stereo audio and adds height and depth cues that make dialogue feel more centered and effects seem positioned around you.
HDMI ARC compatibility on one of the two HDMI connections directs audio automatically to compatible AV soundbars or AV receivers via the same video-carrying cable. This does away with the necessity for dedicated optical audio cables and streamlines installation when you wish to upgrade audio quality. The second HDMI interface is still free for use for gaming consoles, Blu-ray players, or streaming players. There are also composite AV jacks for vintage gear, digital optical output for traditional audio setups, USB for media, headphone jack for personal listening and coaxial jack for antenna or cable connections.
Coming in at $69 for Prime Day, this is incredible value for its smart TV.
