'They Want to Maintain Maximum Flexibility' – Golden State Warriors Rumored to Target 2 NBA Superstars in 2027

The 2025 NBA free agency isn’t over, but the Golden State Warriors are already putting their attention to the summer of 2027. The Warriors haven’t made any significant moves this summer to address their roster concern. One of the main reasons for this is the contract stalemate between the organization and free agent forward Jonathan Kuminga.

Even with that, Golden State has brought their attention to what their next steps should be. The 2027 free agency is expected to feature some of the biggest stars across the league. That includes Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo and Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic.

The Warriors are reportedly interested in adding either of the two European superstars to their roster. Antetokounmpo’s contract will end after the 2027-28 season, that is, if the Greek Freak doesn’t exercise his $62.7 million player option. Jokic, on the other hand, has the same situation and can exercise his $62.8 million player option.
