They grow up so fast! Jess Redden shares son Bobby's first try at rugby

It looks like little Bobby is following in his dad Rob Kearney’s footsteps as he tackles the game of rugby. Jess Redden posted Bobby’s first go at the game, and the tot has taken to it like a fish in water.

The expecting mum shared a video of the two year old giving it his all, kicking the rugby balls through different obstacles at a class at Rugbytots Ireland.

Along with his mum, Bobby was joined by former Ireland rugby player dad Rob, who helped him with his hand-eye coordination, comfort blanket in tow.

Certifying that the class was a ‘big success’, Jess shared with her followers that their toddler loved the game. ‘Bobby has finally gone down for his nap, I thought he would be super tired after the Rugbytots.’

‘He loved it, it was his first session today. We did have him in a soccer class before on Saturdays, but he just needed to be in our arms the whole time, so I don’t know if its a developmental thing or he genuinely just preferred the class! But he was great, he loved it’, the lifestyle influencer shared.

Jess and Rob are soaking up all the time they can with their little one as their family is soon to grow from three to four, with Jess due her second baby in October.

The family have been away on holidays over the summer, with the pharmacist savouring the precious moments of just them before the baby comes.

Although Jess and Rob are beyond excited for the new bundle of joy, the couple will no doubt have a busy house with a budding rugby star and new baby!

Jess has not yet the gender of their baby, and shares regular updates on her life and pregnancy, but will most likely not reveal much of their newborn as she has changed her approach to sharing her children online.

Choosing to keep Bobby’s face offline she wrote: ‘As much as I want to share every last drop of him because he is the cutest and sweetest boy I’ve decided to stop.

‘As he grows, I want to give him the freedom to shape his own digital presence when he’s old enough to understand what that means!!

‘I’m still happy to share moments and memories, but just in a way that protects his identity. It’s a personal choice, and I really appreciate your understanding
