The Sweetish Fish opens new Seaport location in Boston

Candy lovers can flock to sweets as The Sweetish Fish officially opened its doors in the Seaport District.
The Swedish candy boutique, already established on Cape Cod, has launched a pop-up shop at The Current building in Boston’s Seaport neighborhood, starting its run on Sept. 26.
From opening morning, lines formed outside the glass storefront as the first customers entered to browse shelves of colorful gummies, tangy foams, sour belts and nostalgic Swedish favorites. On opening day, the first 10 patrons received special Sweetish Fish tote bags as a token of thanks.
Inside, visitors can expect more than candy. The Seaport location mirrors The Sweetish Fish’s flagship mission: offering Swedish confections made with real sugar, natural flavors and inclusive options, with many treats that are vegan and gluten-free.
The store complements its candy selection with decadent ice cream treats like cookie ice cream sandwiches rolled in toppings like sprinkles or mini candy pieces. For those who already know and love the brand, this new outpost brings their signature offerings to the heart of Boston.
The Seaport shop is a pop-up location set to operate through February, offering both locals and visitors a sweet destination in the city. Located in a burgeoning mixed-use building, the store is part of the growing retail and lifestyle scene in Seaport.
As The Sweetish Fish brings its Scandinavian sweetness to Boston, its Seaport location is exploring a new audience with candy nostalgia.
