Fans of hit series The Summer I Turned Pretty were glued to their televisions, throwing watching parties, and getting excited on Wednesday, September 17, to tune in for its much-anticipated finale. The stars of the programme – based on Jenny Han’s best-selling books – attended a glamorous event in Paris to celebrate the season’s last episode, which saw main protagonist Belly, played by Lola Tung, make her decision between brothers Conrad (Chris Briney) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno).

Donning a floor-length silver gown, Lola, who has carved quite a name for herself in the fashion world since landing the role, was the epitome of glamour as she paired the dress with a simple but striking makeup look. And she reportedly prepped for her look using products from UKLASH.

Featuring the brand’s viral lash serum, Lola’s celebrity makeup artist Misha Shahzada shared a list of items the star had been using ahead of the event to achieve her stunning look. She explained: “I began by prepping Lola’s skin with the UKSKIN LED Dual Light Pro-Therapy Face Mask (£199), which worked to stimulate elasticity, enhance circulation, and promote a more even skin tone.

“To give her lashes a head start, I applied the nourishing UKLASH Eyelash Serum (£38) along the lash line before applying curling them for lift with the UKLASH Eyelash Curler (£11). Once UKLASH Lengthening Mascara (£12) was applied to give super length and some volume, I carefully combed through with the UKLASH Lash Separator (£8) to eliminate any clumps and ensure each lash remained defined, fluffy, and perfectly fanned out.”

Lola’s look was finished off with a black eyeliner for a subtle but smokey-eye look and nude lips. The UKLASH eyelash serum is one of the brand’s best-selling products and contains vitamin B5 (panthenol), green tea extract, and Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17 to stimulate keratin growth.

This should mean lashes will be visibly longer within 25 days. The product has amassed over 52,000 reviews, with many people ditching false eyelashes and extensions after being wowed by the results.

One beauty fan shared their experience and said: “I honestly cannot believe I didn’t get UKLASH sooner, I have worn extensions for almost a year now, I have been using uk lash for a month only and the results are to die for, I have put photos below of results with mascara, without and before.”

Someone else added: “My eyelashes went through a really bad shedding stage, they went so thin and short, especially on my right eye. I started using UKLASH serum and it did take about 8 weeks to notice a difference but wow, what a difference it’s made! My eyelashes are so long and full, I love them!”

Costing £29.99, shoppers have seen ‘incredible’ results in as little as 30 days with its lash serum. One person shared: “My lashes are looking like they never have before. 8-12 weeks and you can see my before and after. Obsessed! Long, thick and healthier lashes. No more need for lash lifts or falsies.”

Elsewhere, shoppers can get the GrandeLASH-MD Lash Enhancing Serum on sale at LookFantastic for £49.60 down from £62. Infused with vitamins, peptides, amino acids and hyaluronic acid, it promises longer and fuller-looking lashes.

The UKLASH serum isn’t the only product used on Lola Tung that has received high praise. Its £12 mascara – which launched last October – has a 4.6 star rating with some beauty fans saying it looks like they were wearing ‘false lashes’ after application.

The mascara is water-resistant with an extra-black pigmented formula that’s designed to instantly lengthen, curl and add definition to your lashes. With a curved silicone brush, it helps define and sculpt the lashes while the concoction’s Carnauba and Candelilla waxes offer optimum curl and hold.

Costing £12, it’s a budget friendly option that rivals the likes of Maybelline’s £12.99 Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara as well as Charlotte Tilbury’s £16 Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes Mascara.
