THE LEGACY, The Real Estate Event – ​​Conference, Awards Gala & Networking Party 2025, marked a landmark moment for the Romanian real estate industry, bringing together on September 11th over 200 professionals and market leaders at the conference and over 600 professionals from real estate and related industries present at the networking party. The conference brought to the forefront essential themes for the future of the sector – from urban development and adaptation to new economic realities, to the responsibility of the current generation to leave a legacy of sustainable values ​​and projects. The evening ended with the Excellence Trophy Gala, where emblematic companies in the industry were recognized for their major contribution to the 35 years of real estate in Romania.

The discussions at the conference were shaped around three essential topics for the future of the industry.

Panel 1 – Romania 2035 – The Future of Residential Development in Big Cities and Emerging Regions

Moderated by Gabriel Biriș, Co-Managing Partner, BirișGoran, the discussion highlighted optimistic perspectives for the next decade. Developers see a future in which infrastructure becomes essential, and the rental market will continue to gain ground, as a result of the accelerated growth of this sector. “Less, but better” will be built, based on the concrete needs of different categories of consumers, but collaboration with authorities remains a decisive factor for market accessibility.

Panel 2 – The engine of growth in the next decade – How do we adapt in a constantly changing real estate market?

Moderated by Victor Constantinescu, Partner, Kinstellar, the debate outlined how different segments are adapting. Retail will continue to grow through curiosity and flexibility, and the office market has already recovered after the pandemic period. Romania has solid premises to become a regional hub, where the focus will not be on square meters, but on interconnectivity, energy efficiency and operational digitalization.

Panel 3 – THE LEGACY – From founders to new generation leaders. Strategic decisions in today’s real estate.

Moderated by Ionuț Bonoiu, Founder of Businesspedia.ro and Head of Context & Clarity Termene.ro, the discussion captured the essence of The LEGACY edition and brought founders of top companies, as well as representatives of the new generation of entrepreneurs, to the stage. The dialogue touched on both the challenges of inheritance in family businesses, which the speakers specified comes with a set of values, objectives and standards, as well as macroeconomic challenges: public deficit, political instability and the lack of a country brand. However, the common vision was clear: leaving a sustainable legacy, through responsible urbanism, exceptional buildings and sustainable ecosystems.

The conference, moderated by Ionuț Oprea, Publisher of “Romania’s RE Market Pulse Reports” and a keen expert on the dynamics of the real estate market, brought together over 200 industry professionals, in a lively space for dialogue, exchange of ideas and quality networking.

The evening continued with the Excellence Trophy Gala – The LEGACY, where companies that in the last 35 years have shaped communities, redesigned cities and aligned Romania with international trends were awarded.

The event was marked by several exclusive moments, offered by companies that chose The Real Estate Event to announce new projects. FIRST, the main partner of this edition, officially announced the launch of the real estate announcements platform. Opus Land Development and Cosmopolis announced the transition to a new level in urban development and officially launched the Cosmopolis Evolia project. Bellemonde, one of the most appreciated premium residential projects in the north of the Capital, took the opportunity to present its newest project – Bellemonde Privée.

The evening was concluded by an exceptional artistic moment supported by the band The COLORS.
