Cristin Milioti won the Emmy for lead limited series actress on Sunday in recognition of her portrayal of Sofia Gigante in HBO’s “The Penguin.” This is her first Emmy nomination and win.The Batman director Matt Reeves, who serves as an executive producer and writing supervisor on The Penguin, told Variety he is in discussions with showrunner Lauren Lefranc about a second season of the hit series. “We love the show, and we think our cast is so incredible. The work that Lauren and the writers did was incredible. Naturally, all of this success, has plenty of fans wondering what the future holds for the character.“I have no idea if it’s happening,” the actor told Deadline this month. “I know that I heard rumblings that they were thinking they’d like to do a second season, but I don’t know if it’s a good idea. I don’t know the way you go back to the trough … And part of me wants to go, ‘Just let it go people. We got away with it.
