It’s been requested that the Ombudsman for Children attend a meeting of the Defective Block Committee in Lifford Chamber. Cllr Joy Beard says now that the scientific evidence is there to prove that children caught in the crises are experiencing trauma, measures must be implemented to support them. There are many factors of the crises that have the potential to contribute to the impact on children’s mental health. Cllr Beard says they have been exposed to a great deal of stress at a young age
