The Left Cares More About Jimmy Kimmel Than Charlie Kirk’s Murder

The left is finally waking up. They’re angry. Furious, actually. They fought it initially, but they’re finally showing some real anger over this Charlie Kirk situation. Good for them. Credit where it’s due. Welcome to reality! Wait, hang on. That’s not right. I have my facts wrong here. They’re not pissed about Charlie Kirk getting murdered in cold blood while talking to a bunch of college kids. They’re pissed today because Jimmy Kimmel has been shelved by ABC for lying about it. Seriously. This is where we are as a country. That side of the aisle is FURIOUS right now because a ratings-challenged late night TV host got pulled off the air by his bosses because he spent two days this week lying to the public. Knowingly lying. So, his bosses did what any good boss would do, and yanked him off the air. And the left – from insufferable Chuck Schumer to crazy Elizabeth Warren – is now lying to YOU about what actually happened: Liberals are rewriting history with Jimmy Kimmel I could go on and on. Seriously. It is STUNNING how fake-mad the left is over Jimmy Kimmel. They are far more outraged over Kimmel facing consequences for lying about Charlie Kirk’s murderer, then Kirk actually getting assassinated. Think about that. Really think about it. What a party. And here’s the thing – they are lying to us, again! They really don’t get it, do they? They’re lying to us, and they’re lying to themselves. No, ABC didn’t yank Jimmy Kimmel because he said bad things about Trump, you morons. He has mocked Donald Trump for a decade now. No problem. He was not canceled. ABC didn’t dig up some 10-year-old tweet about how much he hated Charlie Kirk, and then fire him for it. That’s cancel culture, you buffoons. And no, Kimmel’s free speech is not under attack, either. This wasn’t a coup. He was pulled because he spewed disgusting – and, more importantly, dangerous – lies about the Charlie Kirk murder. That’s it. Plain and simple. Kimmel told his audience that Kirk’s alleged assassin was part of the “MAGA gang” and mocked those mourning Kirk’s death in the process. His words, not mine: “We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel said. This is Jimmy Kimmel, and the left, being held accountable Lies. Dangerous lies. The sort of lies that sow division, and, frankly, get people murdered while talking to college kids on a university campus. When you knowingly lie, you should get fired. This isn’t cancel culture. It’s accountability culture. And it’s time for the left to start taking some accountability. Jimmy Kimmel knew exactly who Tyler Robinson was when he spewed these lies. It wasn’t a secret. By the time he knowingly lied to his audience, he KNEW Robinson was not MAGA. But he said he was anyway. That’s a fireable offense. Before Monday’s taping, we knew Robinson was living with a trans-furry. We knew he hated Kirk and Trump. We knew he had embraced “leftist ideology” and had become more radicalized in recent years. We knew what the bullets said. We knew what the text messages said. We knew it all, and so did Kimmel. Yet he still lied to his audience, and to the 14 people still watching on ABC. And then he doubled down on Tuesday. By Wednesday, ABC and Disney had enough. More importantly, they finally had an ‘out’ with Kimmel. This won’t shock anyone with a brain, but Kimmel, like Colbert at CBS, added nothing to the company. He cost them money. He was hemorrhaging viewers. Nobody watched him anymore. Like all of Late Night TV, he had become a one-stop shop for political propaganda. So, ABC saw an out, and they took it. And I don’t blame them. Chuck Schumer and Elizabeth Warren and Gavin Newsom can wax poetic about free speech all they want. Sure, they didn’t give a shit about our freedoms for an entire year when they wanted us all locked in our houses, but whatever. This is nonsense, and they know it. Jimmy Kimmel was not exercising free speech. He deliberately spread disgusting, and dangerous, misinformation about who killed Charlie Kirk, and his employer decided to ditch a liability. That’s not an attack on free speech. It’s not cancel culture. It’s not taking away Jimmy Kimmel’s first amendment rights. It’s someone finally being held accountable for their actions, by an employer that’s tired of losing money. Spare us the fake outrage, Dems. We’re over it. We’re not buying it. I certainly won’t be standing for it. Enough is enough.
