What I find to be the funniest is, McLaren was primed to win both the World Drivers Championship and World Constructors Championship. Then due to these documents McLaren got disqualified from the World Constructors Championship but were still in contention for the World Drivers Championship. In fact before the last two races the standings were
Lewis Hamilton(McLaren) – 107Fernando Alonso(McLaren) – 95Kimi Raikonnen(Ferrari) – 90
Yet in the last two races Lewis only scored two points, Alonso scored 14, and Kimi scored 20 making the standings
Kimi Raikonnen – 110Lewis Hamilton – 109Fernando Alonso – 109
making Kimi the WDC by one point. Ferrari won the Constructors and Drivers Championship that year
