The inaugural Egypt–Rwanda Business Forum was held today in Cairo

As part of efforts to attract investment and strengthen economic ties between Rwanda and Egypt, the inaugural Egypt–Rwanda Business Forum was held today in Cairo.

The Forum brought together business leaders and investors from both countries to explore opportunities, foster long-term partnerships, and promote trade and investment.

Discussions highlighted priority sectors including agro-processing, manufacturing, tourism and hospitality, health and pharmaceuticals, construction and real estate, and mining.

By leveraging each country’s strengths and regional advantages, the Forum sought to facilitate investment inflows, enable knowledge sharing and technology transfer, and create sustainable business linkages that expand market access across Africa and beyond.

In his remarks, RDB CEO, Jean Africa, urged Egyptian investors to explore Rwanda’s diverse opportunities and consider the country as both an investment hub and a gateway to broader regional markets. (End)
