The Energy Employers’ Federation and the Romanian Diplomatic Institute launch the “Energy Diplomacy” program

The Energy Employers’ Federation (FPE) welcomes its partnership with the Romanian Diplomatic Institute (IDR), through which the professional training and development program “Energy Diplomacy” will be carried out. The program is designed to offer a strategic perspective on how energy influences international relations and on the role of diplomacy in managing resources, interests, and cooperation between states. In a complex geopolitical context, marked by the global energy transition and the need to ensure supply security, energy diplomacy is becoming an essential skill for decision-makers, experts, and professionals involved in the energy sector. Through this program, participants will gain tools for analyzing and understanding the dynamics between energy policies, the global economy, and international relations, as well as the diplomatic mechanisms through which states can cooperate to build a sustainable and equitable energy system. Daniel Apostol, General Director of the Energy Employers’ Federation: “Education is the foundation of any sustainable development — and in the field of energy, where science meets politics and economics, professional training becomes a strategic duty. The Federation of Energy Employers has always supported the need for real, in-depth expertise to guide both public decision-making and private initiative. I am convinced that only through advanced education and the cultivation of competence can we build a truly strong Romania in the face of global energy challenges. This is why both I personally, and the Federation I lead, are committed to supporting these training programs, which transform knowledge into power and professionalism into strategic advantage.” The program is intended for personnel from central and local public administration, representatives of the private sector, specialists working in the energy industry, as well as anyone interested in continuous learning and professional development in fields that connect energy, diplomacy, and foreign policy.
