Vanessa Kirby and fiancé Paul Rabil have welcomed their first child, marking a joyful milestone for the British actress and the former professional lacrosse player. The Crown star, 37, known for her portrayal of Princess Margaret, and Rabil, 39, now a sports executive, shared the news over the weekend via Rabil’s Instagram, offering an intimate glimpse into their early days of parenthood. Reflecting on the experience, Rabil wrote: “I'm learning that becoming a parent slows you down and wakes you up at the same time. I'm really grateful for everyone's health, that I get to wake up every day to mum's enormous love, and that we get to have you in our lives now.” He also added a playful nod to his lacrosse past: “For your first cradle stick. It'll hold many stories and blessings. Likely broken windows too. Balls are allowed in the house.” The couple have not yet revealed the baby’s name or gender as they enjoy their new family chapter. Vanessa announced her pregnancy while walking the red carpet for the Mexico City premiere of Fantastic Four: First Steps back in June. The star, cradled her bump while rocking a metallic blue and green halter neck dress on the red carpet. She styled her blonde locks in loose waves and rocked black high heels and simple makeup for the special occasion. Sharing snaps from the event on her Instagram, she wrote: "Mexico, we loved you! Gracias - we had the best time, you were amazing to us. I learnt so much from Sue Storm about being a first-time mother in the film. "Very grateful and surreal to be on this journey with her, as I’m now about to become one myself. Thank you to everyone for the beautiful love and support. It means the world to me. And thank you as always," she added. At the time, fans rushed to the comment section to congratulate her, with one user writing: "mother, literally and figuratively," and another posting: "Congratulations, I'm so happy for you, you're going to be a fantastic mother." "Words can’t describe how happy I’m so to see you becoming a mother especially after Pieces of A Woman. So proud of you. There’s no doubt that you’ll be an amazing mother. Congratulations Noo," one fan page wrote. Vanessa got engaged to professional Lacrosse player Paul Rabil in 2024, with the two first sparking dating rumours in October 2022. They went Instagram official with their relationship in November 2023 when Paul posted a snap on his page.
