Beat the Chasers returns for a fresh episode on Sunday night where presenter Bradley Walsh decides to put the Chasers in the hot seat. The popular ITV quiz show sees challengers face off against the Chasers in pursuit of substantial cash prizes and is currently broadcasting its seventh series. In an exclusive preview of this Sunday’s programme (Sunday 5 October), presenter Bradley, 65, questions The Chasers – Mark Labbett, Shaun Wallace, Anne Hegerty, Paul Sinha, Jenny Ryan and Darragh Ennis – about their tight-knit relationship. Bradley enquires: “Now, we know that you all have to get on and work as a team… but which one of you is the most annoying…” He then poses the question to each individual Chaser, beginning with Darragh, also dubbed The Menace on the programme, who responds: “Oh, Mark!”, reports the Mirror . Following this, it’s The Governess’ Anne’s turn, 67, who promptly answers: “Mark!”. Bradley then turns to The Sinnerman Paul, 55, who declares: “Mr Mark Labbett, The Beast!” whilst The Vixen Jenny, 43, and The Dark Destroyer Shaun, 65, also both name Mark. Following the Chasers’ unanimous decision that Mark is “most annoying”, Bradley then seeks The Beast Mark’s response, 60, who quips: “The guy in front of me at the dinner queue! No, let’s face it, it’s me!” This comes as The Chase personality Mark has made a remarkably honest romantic revelation, confessing he would prefer to watch television. The professional quiz expert maintained he is content being single despite attempting to find romance on the recent series of Celebs Go Dating. He appeared on the popular E4 dating programme hoping to glean expert advice and bring his single life to an end. Mark, famously dubbed the Beast on the ITV quiz show, enrolled after his split from wife Katie, who is 27 years his junior. The pair went their separate ways in 2020, with Mark subsequently dating TV personality Hayley Palmer, though that romance fizzled out. Despite going on multiple dates throughout the reality series, he struggled to forge a meaningful bond, and it appears to have made Mark more comfortable with solo living. He’s adamant that he’s “very happy on my own”. “If you want to do something then you do it, like if I want to watch that film then I do it,” he revealed to the Daily Mail. “Saturday mornings, I put Sky Sports on and I stay in all weekend. That’s heaven. Some people have to be in a relationship but I’m not that bothered about it now, and I am pretty comfortable being on my own.” Beat the Chasers airs Sundays at 8pm on ITV1
