Netflix's upcoming thriller, The Beast in Me, has already got fans buzzing with anticipation following the release of its chilling trailer. The series, produced by big names like Jodie Foster and TV presenter Conan O'Brien, centres around a reclusive author dealing with the tragic loss of her son. Aggie Wiggs, unable to pen a word and a mere shadow of her former self, finds an unlikely muse for her new book - a man suspected of murder. Real estate tycoon Nile Jarvis, once the prime suspect in his wife's vanishing act, becomes a dangerous attraction for Aggie. Here's everything you need to know about this eagerly awaited series, including when it's out and who's in it. The show is set to make its global debut on Netflix on 13 November, with all eight episodes available at once. UK viewers can tune in from 8am, while those in the US can start watching at midnight. Golden Globe-winning American actress Claire Danes, 46, takes on the role of Aggie Wiggs. She's best known for her performances in Homeland and Temple Grandin. Welsh actor Matthew Rhys, 50, known for his roles in The Americans and Brothers & Sisters, plays Nile Jarvis. Nina Jarvis, Nile's wife, is portrayed by 39 year old American actress Brittany Snow, famous for her roles in Guiding Light, American Dreams and the Pitch Perfect film series. Natalie Morales, known for her roles in Grey's Anatomy and The Middleman, stars as Shelley, the ex-wife of Aggie. At 40, she's an accomplished American actress and director. The guest cast is a star-studded line-up: David Lyons takes on the role of Brian Abbot, an FBI agent Tim Guinee portrays Wrecking Ball, a daunting figure in Nile's life Deirdre O'Connell plays Carol McGiddish, Aggie's literary agent and confidante Jonathan Banks appears as Martin Jarvis, Nile's father Hettienne Park is Agent Erika Breton, an FBI agent working alongside Abbott Aleyse Shannon plays Olivia Benitez, a city council member opposing Nile's business ventures Will Brill is Chris Ingram, the brother of Nile's missing wife Kate Burton portrays Mariah Ingram, the mother of Nile's missing wife Bill Irwin plays James Ingram, the father of Nile's missing wife Amir Arison is Frank Breton, the ex-husband of FBI Agent Erika Breton Julie Ann Emery appears as Lila Jarvis, the wife of Martin Jarvis In October, Netflix unveiled the full trailer, which features Aggie boldly questioning Nile about his ex-wife's murder. Despite the accusations, Nile maintains his innocence, and the more time Aggie spends with him, the murkier her judgement becomes. Viewers also get a sneak peek into the emotional upheaval Aggie is experiencing following her devastating loss. Those closest to Aggie express concern for her safety as she becomes convinced there's more to Nile than what's on the surface. The Beast in Me will be available on Netflix from 13 November.
