The retailer has brought back its popular Gingham Midi A-Line Skirt in a brand new colourway for autumn - and its proving 'popular'. The Gingham Midi A-Line Skirt flew off the shelves when it was released in a cream and black design earlier this year, and this version looks set to follow suit. It has a soft, elasticated waistband to ensure comfort during all day wear, while the structured A-line shape gives it a flattering finish. The green gingham look is proving popular with other retailers too, as ASOS stocks a Neon Rose tiered check midaxi skirt for £45. Beyond Nine also has a green gingham co-ord in their Mabel Linen Trousers, £125, and Esme Linen Top, £65. However the Gingham Midi A-Line Skirt from M&S has already attracted a number of five-star reviews. One review read: "You feel amazing in this. Fits like a glove. Very slimming. I have a similar one in brown. "Washes well, no iron is a bonus. Definitely recommend. Value for money" Another fan of the Gingham Midi A-Line Skirt said: "Really lovely skirt. Great colours and fit. "The elasticated top makes this skirt really comfortable to wear. "I was downcast to see the model in the photo was so tall and in a size 8 so I was really pleased to see this came as a petite size so I didn't have to have the hem taken up four inches. "Looks great with boots and a black jumper. I've had loads of compliments each time I have worn it." More five-star feedback for the Gingham Midi A-Line Skirt read: "Another great purchase. It caught my eye and I was so glad I bought it. "Perfect for Christmas season and really flattering." Some shoppers had hoped the Gingham Midi A-Line Skirt would come in a heavier fabric though.
