You wouldn’t hear Greg Olsen say that crap.Tom Brady is in the middle of the second year of his broadcasting career with FOX Sports. However, this season, the NFL decided to lift some of the restrictions imposed on his analyst’s duties as he is also a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.During an interview with PFF’s Chris Collinsworth earlier this month, Brady talked about these restrictions being relaxed.”I would listen to press conferences all week anyways,” Brady said. “Whether it’s the weekly, you know, coaches press conference that he has to do on a Wednesday or Friday, I listen to that. … You know, I’ve always felt like if I ask a question and they don’t want to answer it, I have no problem.””The only thing I want to do is get insight into the game, to help the viewers understand the game a little bit better. …I love the NFL. I love the sport. If I can communicate that in a positive way to the viewers, great.”Former Bucs HC shares his thoughts on Tom Brady’s dual role as Raiders minority owner and NFL analystOn the ‘Pat McAfee Show’, former Bucs head coach Bruce Arians came forward to talk about Brady’s potential conflict of interest while juggling two professions. This was after the retired seven-time Super Bowl champion caused an uproar after being spotted in the Raiders’ coaches booth during their 20-9 loss to the Chargers. However, Arians was not too worried about the situation. He stated that Brady would not end up with any important information as an analyst and put it into use to give the Raiders an unfair advantage on the field.”No, terrible. Can’t get anything,” Arians said. “I don’t think anybody gets anything out of these meetings, not just Tom Brady. I did those things for how many years. I would tell the truth sometimes cause I knew they thought I’m lying.”The NFL also came forward with an official statement regarding Tom Brady’s presence at the Raiders’ coaches booth. They confirmed that he did not break any rule and that personnel in the booth can only use electronic equipment provided by the league.
