The 25-year-old, who is gearing up to make his directorial debut, was spotted by the paparazzi as he quietly navigated the airport’s arrival terminal. Ditching any entourage, security, or assistants with him, he walked out alone, carrying his luggage himself. As seen in a clip shared on Instagram, Jason’s style caught attention. He opted for a simple everyday look, pairing a blue half-sleeve T-shirt with denim jeans and white shoes. As he moved through the airport, he noticed the photographers filming him. Despite spotting them, he did not stop or pose for them. Instead, he continued walking with ease, exuding a grounded vibe despite being the son of one of the biggest stars in Indian cinema. Instead, he chose a career in the entertainment industry. Back in August 2023, The Hindu reported that he would be making his directorial debut with a film bankrolled by Lyca Productions. In a statement, the production house shared, “We are happy to announce that Mr. Jason Sanjay Vijay will direct our next project, which has a unique story premise and an engrossing experience.” The continued, “When he narrated the script, we were totally satisfied as it gave us a cinematic feel. It’s great to see that he has specialised in screenwriting and direction, but has understood the complete production, which we believe is an essential quality that every filmmaker should master.” Jason, who completed a Film Production Diploma at Toronto Film School, followed by a BA (Hons) in Screenwriting in London, is working alongside star Sundeep Kishan as the film’s lead. In July this year, a video from the shoot of Jason’s first directorial, tentatively titled JS 01, surfaced. The shooting was taking place in Salem, Tamil Nadu. In the clip, the 25-year-old was seen giving directions to the crew and leading the team with great enthusiasm.
