Best Bets Nico Collins over 73.5 Receiving Yards (-115) A.J. Barner over 2.5 Receptions (-135) C.J. Stroud over 16.5 Rushing Yards (-135) Seahawks vs. Texans makes for an interesting, albeit extremely late matchup between two teams in similar stages of their development. The Texans and Seahawks both feel like solid tier-two contenders, with limiting issues that will prevent them from a deep playoff run, but still extremely talented units on both sides of the ball. Vegas doesn’t see this as a particularly even matchup, with the Seahawks favored by three at home. Either way, these are two offenses with loads of explosive potential. Here are the best bets for Seahawks vs. Texans on Monday Night Football. All bets are courtesy of BetMGM. Nico Collins Over 73.5 Receiving Yards (-115) Collins has been inconsistent this season, hitting this line only twice so far this season. The Seahawks, however, offer Collins the chance to get his production back on track. Seattle ranks 22nd in EPA/pass allowed, 14th in pass success rate allowed, and 25th in completion rate over expected, per ESPN’s Sam Hoppen. Seattle’s boundary cornerbacks, Riq Woolen and Josh Jobe, rank 103rd and 83rd in coverage this season, per PFF. If Collins gets the targets he deserves tonight, he should be able to hit this line. A.J. Barner over 2.5 Receptions (-135) Barner has emerged as a consistent part of Seattle’s offense in recent weeks, recording at least three receptions over his last three outings. Houston has a talented coverage unit, but Barner faces a favorable matchup against the Texans’ linebacker unit, which is PFF’s 14th-ranked coverage unit. Barner mostly operates underneath, which is another reason he should get significant looks. According to ESPN’s Sam Hoppen, the Texans have the 10th-highest blitz rate in the NFL, meaning Sam Darnold will likely look Barner’s way when Houston brings pressure. C.J. Stroud Over 16.5 Rushing Yards (-135) Stroud isn’t typically known as a scrambler, but the Texans’ pass protection issues have forced him to use his legs more often this season. Stroud has rushed for 17 or more yards in four of his five outings this season, and with the Seahawks’ formidable front four, expect him to continue that trend in this one. Based on current odds, this parlay is +550 on BetMGM. Athlon Sports may earn revenue from sports betting operators for audience referrals to betting services.
