The phenomenon started when a Tesla owner posted a video on X, claiming that while driving near a graveyard, his car’s display showed several invisible people roaming around even though no one was actually there. The video quickly went viral, sparking a mix of curiosity and suspicion online. In the video, two men are shown sitting inside their Tesla at a graveyard to test whether the claim was true. As the video progresses, the car’s monitor displays several “mysterious” human-like figures moving around the vehicle. The video quickly intrigued other Tesla users, many eager to test it for themselves. A X user wrote, “Going to go try this.” Another commented, “WTH is this? Can they even pick up ghostly images now? Holy smokes.” Yet another joked, “I’m sure Elon programmed that in himself!” One Tesla owner revealed that he deliberately drove through a cemetery late at night and saw multiple human-like shapes on his car’s display. “There was absolutely no one around,” he said. “The screen showed moving figures; it was unsettling.” Another Tesla owner reported a similar experience while driving through a wooded forest. According to him, the car’s sensors detected human-like figures surrounding the vehicle, even though nothing was visible outside.
