Tennis icon Anna Kournikova, 44, shows off growing baby bump

The rarely-seen retired pro, who was voted the world’s sexiest woman in 2002, was pictured in Miami, Florida along with her son Nicolas, The Sun reports.

Kournikova, 44, could be seen holding his hand as they crossed a road during a sunny outing.

She was wearing a loose black top and matching leggings, though the signs of her baby bump were visible.

Wearing socks and crocs while carrying a bag of groceries, Kournikova cut a relaxed figure on the school run.

Her pregnancy was first reported in August as she and her husband, singer Enrique Iglesias, prepare to welcome their fourth child.

The couple already have three kids – twins Lucy and Nicholas, seven, and five-year-old Mary.

Kournikova’s outing comes months after a health scare when she was pictured in a wheelchair.

The former tennis No. 8 and doubles No. 1 was wearing an orthopaedic boot, suggesting she had undergone surgery on her foot.

Having retired from professional tennis in 2003, she now keeps much of her family life private.

The Russian ace also spent time modelling and was voted the world’s sexiest woman back in 2002, beating the likes of Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez.

She was also recognised as the sexiest female tennis player of all time in 2010.

But she failed to win a singles grand slam title during her career but came close when she reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon in 1997.

However, a string of injuries — mostly back problems — led to an early retirement when she was only 21 years old.

Kournikova has lived quietly as she has settled into family life, while Iglesias is a bit more open.

He has spoken about his children and family openly to the media.

Speaking at the 40 Music Awards, he said: “I’m relaxing at home with the kids, enjoying taking them to school and watching them grow.

“I have twins and every day they grow so fast.

“I want to enjoy that. In 24 hours they’re already grown.”
