The Ohio State Buckeyes kicked off Veteran’s Day week 2025 by siphoning a Southeastern Conference talent. OSU and head coach Ryan Day are adding four-star Legend Bey to the 2026 class, Bey unveiled across social media on Monday. The North Forney, Tex., talent leaves Tennessee in the process. Bey adds a brand-new dynamic athlete who can alter the game in a variety of ways. The Buckeyes likely envision the dual-threat quarterback as more of a Swiss Army knife. He then dove into why he chose OSU over the Volunteers. Factors That Led Legend Bey to Chose Ohio State Bey ends up dipping out of an SEC power. But he shared why its the Buckeyes who earn his services in a conversation with Mike Roach of 247Sports. “Just the fact it’s a winning school,” Bey said to Roach. “I want to win and be in the best position to be around guys of my caliber. Ohio State has incredible development and a winning culture.” He adds he’s impressed by the offseason regimen installed there. “I know they have the best strength and conditioning coach in the nation. Also, I’ve been communicating with them since the beginning of my sophomore year. I have a great relationship with the coaches at Ohio State,” Bey said. What Position Will Bey Play in Columbus? Bey, again, does a lot of his damage behind center. But wide receivers coach and offensive coordinator Brian Hartline is recruiting him for wide receiver — energizing Bey for this reason. “Just being able to be coached by a coach like that,” he said. “He’s been putting receivers in the league for a long time.”
