Ten men accused of hare coursing in Cambridgeshire appear in court - live updates

Ten men accused of offences relating to hare coursing and violent disorder are set to appear in court today (Friday, September 19). The men will appear at Peterborough Magistrates Court.

Back in July, Cambridgeshire Police charged 25 people as part of an ongoing investigation into hare coursing and violent disorder that took place across the county last year.

The events, which included reports of hare coursing, criminal damage, and dangerous driving, caused disruption in communities including Fordham, Ely, Prickwillow, Littleport, Welney, Chatteris, Manea, Wimblington and Doddington.

Last Friday (September 12), 12 of the people charged appeared at Peterborough Magistrates court. Ten other men charged will appear in court today.
