Telangana Board Approves Private Arts Stream Candidates To Sit For IPE 2026

The Telangana Government Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has granted private Arts stream candidates the opportunity to take the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) in March 2026 without attending college. Candidates must pay an exemption fee of Rs 500 to be eligible for the IPE 2026 exams. Eligible students can apply online for the Telangana IPE March 2026 exams at tsbie.cgg.gov.in. The deadline for submitting the application form and paying the required fees is November 17. Those who miss this deadline can still apply by paying a late fee of Rs 200 by November 29, 2025. Candidates should have the necessary documents scanned and ready for online submission when filling out the registration form, including the SSC pass certificate, transfer certificate, eligibility or migration certificate, etc. TGBIE will not accept applications sent by mail or delivered in person. Incomplete applications and those without the original qualifying examination certificate(s) will be rejected by TGBIE. “The incomplete applications and applications received without enclosing original qualifying examination certificate(s), transfer certificate, and migration certificate together with the eligibility certificate, in respect of candidates who have passed the qualifying examination other than S.S.C. of Telangana State, will be rejected summarily without any further correspondence,” states the official notice. TGBIE also requires all candidates granted attendance exemptions to appear for the English Practical/Internal Assessment examinations, as per the Board’s guidelines. According to media reports, the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) 2026 for both first and second-year students will be conducted from February 25 to March 18, 2026. Theory tests will take place in the morning between 9 AM and 12 PM, whereas practical tests for science students will probably be conducted in January and early February. The exams will continue until March 18, 2026, with approximately 9.5 lakh students taking the exam this year. The detailed timetable for the March session will be released soon on the board’s official website.
