Teja Sajja Warns Of Mirai Leaks On YouTube And Instagram, Urges Fans To Watch In Theatres

Karthik Gattamneni’s action-packed fantasy Mirai, featuring Teja Sajja, Manchu Manoj, Ritika Nayak, and Shriya Saran, has smashed the Rs 100 crore mark within just five days of release. Fans and the cast gathered at a Hyderabad event to celebrate the film’s box office triumph.
During the celebration, Teja Sajja spoke candidly about piracy concerns. He revealed that attempts have been made to upload Mirai online on platforms like Instagram and YouTube. “I have to tell you something really important today. In many sites online, including Instagram and YouTube, attempts are being made to upload the film. But, I have a strong feeling that this film can be best enjoyed in a theatre with the audience. I am trusting the audience not to give in to piracy and watch this only in theatres. You’re missing out on an experience if you don’t watch it in theatres, it won’t be the same on TV or phone,” he said.
Teja also highlighted his efforts to keep ticket prices affordable. “Before the film’s release, I requested producer Vishwa Prasad garu and distributors not to increase the ticket prices for this film. It’s because I wanted people to enjoy it at the theatres with their families. We have holidays coming up, I promise you will have a fantastic visual experience at the theatres,” he added.
Mirai Storyline
Mirai follows the story of Vedha (Teja Sajja), a young man destined to become a warrior and guard the nine sacred scriptures of Emperor Ashoka from the evil sorcerer Mahabir Lama (Manchu Manoj), who seeks their power to control the world. The film blends ancient mythology with modern superhero storytelling, as Vedha learns to harness his powers and embrace his destiny as a protector.
Teja Sajja On How Mirai Happened
Ahead of the film’s release, Teja, during an interview with OTTPlay, talked about how he landed a role in Mirai and said, “Following the success of HanuMan, my director, Karthik Ghattamaneni, approached me with Mirai. He briefly summarised the scenario and began pointing out all of the challenges we would experience while filming the film. He had so many doubts and listed them one after the other, and I subsequently realised that he was testing my willingness to go the extra mile and devote the time this project required. The minute he stopped, I informed him that Mirai would unfold just as he had imagined.”
The actor is yet to announce his next project.
