Michael J. Rubino, 30, went flying in the air and landed in the road, not moving. Elia left her car and ran to him. Judge Melinda McGunnigle said evidence showed that three teens led Karon Works into the woods of the city park to be “executed” in December 2023. Karon was shot multiple times and died at Upstate University Hospital.
