Teddy Mitchell tries to help out (Picture: BBC)
Having found himself in way too deep with Ravi Gulati’s (Aaron Thiara) drugs operation, EastEnders’ Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) turns to dad Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) for help next week – and Teddy is immediately placed directly in killer Ravi’s firing line.
Not only has Harry been desperate to get out of the drugs ring himself, he has also been trying to stop Ravi and his associate Okie Okyere (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu) from exploiting his friend Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho).
In scenes airing this week, Harry’s mum Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) has tried to help her son out of his predicament by standing up to Ravi, but he has stood firm in continuing to use Kojo’s flat as part of his operation.
Next week, however, Harry turns to Teddy after returning from a weekend away with girlfriend Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) to find that Kojo has collapsed at The Arches.

He realises Kojo is still being forced to work for Ravi and Okie and pleads with Ravi to reconsider his position, but he dismisses Harry.
Feeling like he is running out of options, Harry spills the beans to his dad about what has been going on.
While shocked, Teddy persuades Harry not to turn himself in to the police and promises to sort the situation with Ravi.
Predictably, Ravi isn’t too happy to have old rival Teddy trying to call the shots where his business is concerned and orders him to back off.
Teddy is undeterred, however, and hatches a plan to try and catch Ravi out.
After getting Harry to take Kojo and Gina out for dinner to keep them out of the way, Teddy heads to Kojo’s flat to set up his cunning plot.
Unfortunately, what he doesn’t anticipate is Ravi and Okie’s unexpected arrival, and he suddenly finds himself trapped in a perilous situation.
Could killer Ravi strike again?
EastEnders airs these scenes from Monday 6 October at 7.30pm on BBC One or stream first from 6am on iPlayer.
