Tech Glitch Hits Passenger Systems at Key European Airports

Capitals, September 20 (QNA) – A tech glitch disrupted check-in and baggage systems at major European airports, including Brussels, Heathrow, and Berlin, causing delays and operational issues.

Collins Aerospace said its global MUSE software suffered a glitch affecting check-in and baggage systems, but gave no details on the cause.

A cyberattack on a passenger services provider at Berlin Brandenburg Airport caused flight delays, prompting officials to disconnect affected systems as a precaution.

Berlin Airport said the cyberattack didn’t directly target it but caused indirect delays and longer wait times.

Brussels and other European airports also reported major flight disruptions. (QNA)
