You gotta respect the hustle from Team Europe.
In regards to their preparation for the upcoming battle against the United States in the Ryder Cup, which is being held at Bethpage Black in New York, the Europeans are going all out.
In the 2023 Ryder Cup in Italy, Team Europe took the victory over the U.S. Since that time, one of their biggest conversations has been around the 2025 edition of the tournament and how hostile it’s going to be having to deal with American fans. In an attempt to get ready for what’s coming at them when they land in America, Team Europe is using virtual reality headsets that throw insults at them, per OutKick. Though it sounds funny, that’s most likely what’s going to happen.
Luke Donald, the captain of the European Ryder Cup team, gave out headsets to his squad during the recent BMW PGA Championship. Rory McIlroy, one of the players on Team Europe, gave confirmation that the headsets can pretty much say anything you want them to.
“It is just to simulate the sights and sounds and noise,” said McIlroy following the recent tournament. “That’s the stuff that we are going to have to deal with. So it’s better to try to desensitize yourself as much as possible before you get in there. You can get them to say whatever you want them to say. So you can go as close to the bone as you like.”

I actually like the strategy from Team Europe here, and honestly, it might work.
