Tea at The Hardiman for Breast Cancer Research

The Galway Committee of the National Breast Cancer Research Institute (NBCRI ) will host Afternoon Tea at The Hardiman Hotel, sponsored by Tom Doyle Motors, on Sunday, October 5 in celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The event begins at 3pm with a sparkling reception, followed by a luxurious afternoon tea of sweet and savoury delights, specially prepared by the Hardiman Hotel’s renowned culinary team. Guests will also enjoy a lively afternoon of entertainment, including Music Bingo with The Benen Tierney Experience.

All proceeds raised will go directly to the NBCRI research team at the Lambe Institute, University of Galway, where researchers are engaged in vital national and international projects to improve the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. Current statistics highlight the importance of this work: 1 in 7 Irish women will develop breast cancer before the age of 75, with over 3,500 cases diagnosed annually.

The Galway Committee acknowledges the generous support of Tom Doyle Motors, Loughrea, who are celebrating their 40th year in business and continue to play a key role in making this event possible through their ongoing sponsorship.

This event is not only a wonderful social occasion but also an opportunity to support critical breast cancer research and improve prospects for those with breast cancer both nationally and internationally.

Tickets for Afternoon Tea at The Hardiman are priced at €65 and are available exclusively online at www.TeaAtTheHardiman.ie
