Taylor Swift‘s dad, Scott Swift, is rooting on his future son-in-law, Travis Kelce, in style.
The pop star’s father, 73, pulled up to the Chiefs-Ravens showdown at Arrowhead Stadium in his best Tru Kolors gear — rocking a suede khaki-colored hat from the NFL star’s American Eagle collab on Sunday, September 28, where the Kansas City squad scored a 37-20 win and Kelce, 35, logged five catches for 48 yards.
Scott’s cap is a revival of the “iconic baseball hat with modern ‘TK’ embroidery and a genuine suede bill for a heritage feel,” per the website, which notes the item sells for $34.95 and also comes in navy.
Fans spotted Taylor’s dad and her brother, Austin Swift, in a suite at the game, along with Kelce’s parents, Donna and Ed Kelce.
As Us Weekly previously reported, Travis served as creative director for the brand’s launch of AE x Tru Kolors by Travis Kelce, a limited-edition product collaboration with his sportswear and lifestyle brand, Tru Kolors, which was first announced on August 27.
“I started Tru Kolors in 2019 on the foundation of showing up authentically and having fun with style, and we wanted this collab to reflect that same energy,” the Chiefs tight end said of his venture.
The “New Heights” podcaster and his team took a hands-on approach from design to creation for the collection that was more than a year in the making and had a second drop just days ago on September 24.
Although Travis’ bride-to-be, Taylor, was seemingly MIA, the singer, 35, did attend the week 4 game, insiders exclusively confirmed to Us, but made a discreet entrance as she was not featured on the broadcast.
Taylor previously made headlines when she appeared to enter Arrowhead Stadium behind a moving wall for Travis’ September 14 home game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Later that night, she joined her fiancé and their friends at a 30th birthday party for quarterback Patrick Mahomes, which was held at the teammates’ 1587 Prime restaurant.
In order to make it for this weekend’s Chiefs-Ravens game, the chart-topping performer jetted over to Kansas City, Missouri, from Santa Barbara, California, after attending the star-studded wedding of her longtime BFF Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco, where Taylor and Ed Sheeran gave speeches on Saturday, September 27.
An insider exclusively told Us that Taylor also was present for the couple’s rehearsal dinner held one day earlier on Friday, September 26.
Taylor has an exciting week ahead as she will soon release her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl, on Friday, October 3. Soon after, the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker has an accompanying project that will hit movie theaters — “Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl” — an 89-minute release party event will run in theaters from October 3 to 5, according to the film’s website.
Taylor teased ahead of the highly anticipated event, “You’ll get to see the exclusive world premiere of the music video for my new single ‘The Fate of Ophelia,’ along with never before seen behind-the-scenes footage of how we made it, cut by cut explanations of what inspired this music, and the brand new lyric videos from my new album The Life of a Showgirl.”
