Taylor Swift will appear on the Graham Norton Show on the same day her new album launches. The American superstar will make a rare talk show appearance on the iconic couch on Friday, October 3 to promote The Life of a Showgirl. Irish presenter Norton will host not only Swift, but Cillian Murphy, Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith and Domhnall Gleeson, with a musical performance from Scotland’s very own Lewis Capaldi. It will be Swift’s fourth time as a guest on the Graham Norton Show, with fans already buzzing with excitement. Posting on social media, Swiftie Dan Cashio said: “Getting Taylor Swift back on Graham Norton’s sofa with none other than Lewis Capaldi – it’s going to be the television moment of the year.” He continued: “Lewis Capaldi and Taylor Swift having a conversation? I don’t even know how that would go.” The Graham Norton Show is pre-recorded, which means that Swifties could potentially be in the audience. For each recording tickets are free, but balloted through SRO Audiences. Fans can enter the ballot and submit their three preferred dates. Successful applicants will be selected at random. If you are desperate to be in the room you should be advised that multiple applications will not increase your chances of getting a ticket. The episode with Taylor Swift is likely to be recorded on Thursday, October 2 at the Television Centre in White City, West London. Doors will open at 6.15pm with the show expected to end at around 9pm. Tickets will be extremely limited and only those over the age of 18 may apply.
