Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl will play in theaters nationwide the same day, giving fans just one weekend to catch it.

Good news for Taylor Swift fans as the American popstar is bringing her twelfth studio album to the big screen. Taylor Swift will be returning to the big screen in October. She’ll be seen in thousands of theaters not with a traditional feature film, but with an 89-minute “release party” event, “Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl,” starting on Oct. 3, the same day that her new album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” comes out.Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl will play in theaters nationwide the same day, giving fans just one weekend to catch it. Taylor Swift revealed at 12:12 p.m. ET Friday (fitting for Swift’s 12th album) an official release party for The Life of a Showgirl. The movie theater release party will feature the world premiere of the music video for Showgirl single “The Fate of Ophelia.” Tickets will be $12. The release will play at all 540 AMC Theatres nationwide under the superstar’s ongoing partnership with AMC Theatres Distribution, which is handling her big-screen projects. Live EventsIt will also expand to thousands of additional North American venues, including Cinemark and Regal locations. Screenings are set to launch simultaneously across all time zones at 3 p.m. ET / noon PT on October 3.When and where to watch?The film will be specially priced in theaters during its Oct. 3-5 run, at $12, before any added online booking fees. Dancing is optional but very much encouraged.”The Life of a Showgirl follows a particularly eventful 2025 for the world’s biggest artist.
