A taxi was totally destroyed after catching fire on a busy Swansea road. The blaze took place while the vehicle was at the lights on Ravenhill Road as traffic waited to turn left or right into the busy Carmarthen Road. Fabio Ciccolella, who runs nearby business F.C. Bookbinder in the area, captured the taxi well alight in this video shared with WalesOnline. It shows a crew from Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue service extinguishing the blaze shortly after their arrival as many watch on with concern as flames leap from the vehicle and black smoke billowed out. The crews remained at the scene for half an hour and the vehicle was later recovered from the scene. Never miss a Swansea story by signing up to our newsletter here .
