Tata Motors on Friday announced that its board has appointed Shailesh Chandra as the company’s Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The appointment will take effect from October 1, 2025, for a term of three years. Chandra, who is currently heading Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TPEM) , Tata Motors’ wholly owned subsidiary for electric vehicles , will continue to lead the EV division even after assuming the top post.
