Tanmay and Anujay emerged victorious in the Men’s Doubles final at the Lucknow Masters, an Indian Pickleball Association (IPA)-sanctioned PWR 50 event, at Pickle Pro in Lucknow on Sunday. The duo overcame an intense fight against Prateek and Akshat, sealing the championship title with an 11–3, 12–10 win. The match was a perfect display of precision, teamwork, and mental strength, as both pairs left everything on the court. Tanmay and Anujay started the first game strongly, dominating with their sharp reflexes and aggressive net play to win it 11–3. However, Prateek and Akshat regrouped in the second game, tightening their defence and pushing the contest to a nail-biting finish. Despite facing stiff resistance, Tanmay and Anujay held their composure in the crucial moments, edging ahead 12–10 to clinch the title in straight games. The final drew loud applause from spectators, who witnessed a thrilling combination of power rallies and tactical shot placement. Both teams displayed remarkable sportsmanship and skill, underlining the rising competitive standards in Indian pickleball. Running from October 23 to 26, the Lucknow Masters lived up to expectations, drawing players from across Uttar Pradesh and delivering exciting rallies, tactical depth, and intense finishes.
