Chennai: A massive public rally led by Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief and actor-turned-politician Vijay in Karur, Tamil Nadu, turned tragic on Saturday. A stampede-like situation left at least 30 dead, including three children, and injured over 40 others.Ministers, top officials, and senior police officers rushed to site. Medical aid and immediate support being provided.The death toll may rise as authorities continue to assess the situation.
