Tamannaah Bhatia Says Baahubali Changed Her, Gave Her ‘A Lot More Confidence’

Tamannaah Bhatia is one of the most loved actresses in the industry. While she has done some of the biggest films, her dance numbers continue to make the audience go crazy. She made her debut two decades ago with the Hindi film Chand Sa Roshan Chehra, but her biggest break came when she joined Prabhas in Baahubali: The Beginning. Later, she returned to the screen with Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, and since then, there has been no looking back for her. In a conversation with Filmfare, Tamannaah Bhatia spoke about how the Baahubali franchise changed her and said, “Baahubali was a film that I learned the most from. We were shooting against a green screen, so we had to imagine a lot of things. I learned much about VFX and how it’s used to enhance a film. It gave me a lot more confidence to be experimental. From there onwards, I really refrained from taking people’s opinions seriously. I started to trust my gut a lot more. It gave me a lot of insight into my own personality.” Tamannaah, along with her co-stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishna, and Sathyaraj, is preparing for the release of Baahubali: The Epic — a re-edited and remastered version that unites Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion into one grand cinematic experience. Building on a Historic Legacy The original films — Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali: The Conclusion (2017) — redefined Indian cinema on a global scale, smashing box office records and captivating audiences worldwide. These films sparked endless debate and curiosity, with questions like “Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali?” keeping viewers hooked long after the credits rolled. Now, Baahubali: The Epic promises to expand this beloved tale further. Official Release Date and Technical Marvel Set for release on October 31, 2025, Baahubali: The Epic will be presented as a grand spectacle, boasting Dolby Atmos sound and state-of-the-art visual effects. The makers have vowed to deliver a cinematic experience that will thrill audiences across India and around the world. Completing 10 Years Marking the film’s 10th anniversary, the cast and crew reunited in Hyderabad on July 10 to celebrate the milestone that not only created cinematic history but also turned Prabhas into a pan-India icon and global sensation. The anniversary celebration was attended by director S.S. Rajamouli, lead actors Prabhas and Rana Daggubati, along with Sathyaraj and other core team members. Music composer M.M. Keeravani, who recently lost his father, was also seen joining the emotional get-together.
