A promotional event for the motion picture “The Strangers: Chapter 2” will take place 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25 at Tally’s Good Food Cafe, 1102 S. Yale Avenue.
Said a news advisory: “Join us for a haunting afternoon as we bring the suspense of ‘The Strangers: Chapter 2’ to life!”
The advisory said free food and drinks will be available for anyone that stops by during that time and “strangers” will be serving food with their vintage truck on-site. Tally’s confirmed the information in the release.

Similar promotional events will take place at other locations around the country. Part of the movie takes place in a diner, which is why Tally’s wound up being one of the promo locations.
“The Strangers: Chapter 2” — survival was just the beginning — carries a release date of Friday, Sept. 26.
Said a film synopsis: “The Strangers are back – more brutal and relentless than ever. When they learn that one of their victims, Maya (Madelaine Petsch), is still alive, they return to finish what they’ve started. With nowhere to run and no one to trust, Maya must survive another horrific chapter of terror as The Strangers – driven by a senseless, unceasing purpose – pursue her, more than willing to kill anyone who stands in their way.”
Directed by Renny Harlin, “The Strangers: Chapter 2″ is the fourth film in the franchise and the second leg of a new trilogy.
