In a candid conversation, the Dunki actress revealed a unique detail about their home — Mathias’s parents live with them, something she proudly calls “the most Indian thing” she brought into their household. In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Taapsee Pannu revealed that she is now living in Denmark. She also opened up on living with husband Mathias Boe’s parents and revealed how she convinced them to stay in the same house. “What is strange for Danes but normal for us Indians is that Mathias’s parents live with us, they have their own space on the ground floor, their bedroom, living room, dining and lounge area. It’s the most Indian thing I brought into the house and it took us a while to convince them because it’s not so common to live with grownup kids in Danish culture. Since we keep travelling we wanted someone to come home to, and it’s a beautiful feeling, it truly feels like home, ” says the actor. Taapsee and Mathias reportedly first met at the inaugural Indian Badminton League in 2013. Mathias was a member of the Lucknow-based team Awadhe Warriors, while Taapsee served as the brand ambassador for the champions, Hyderabad Hotshots. During her appearance at an event, the ‘Haseen Dillruba’ actress opened up about her wedding with Boe and revealed that they had a court marriage in December 2023. She explained that people were unaware of their wedding this year because they didn’t make a public announcement. Taapsee Pannu’s work front Taapsee is set to star in an upcoming film titled Gandhari, directed by Devashish Makhija and written and produced by Kanika Dhillon. The movie is described as an intense revenge action thriller that follows a mother’s desperate mission to save her kidnapped child. The title Gandhari is inspired by a character from the ancient Indian epic Mahabharata, known for blindfolding herself for life after marrying a blind prince. This project marks the sixth collaboration between Taapsee and Kanika Dhillon following their work together on Manmarziyaan (2018), directed by Anurag Kashyap, Netflix’s original Haseen Dillruba (2021) and its sequel Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba (2024), the ZEE5 film Rashmi Rocket (2021) and Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki (2023). While the release date has not been officially announced, reports suggest that the film is expected to come out later this year.
