Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun Romance Heats Up at Dinner

Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun have been spotted out again as their casual romance heats up.
Photos obtained by Deuxmoi on Thursday, September 25, revealed that Sweeney, 28, and Braun, 44, had a romantic meal at trendy Italian restaurant Jon & Vinny’s in Brentwood on Wednesday, September 24. Braun was dressed casually in a white T-shirt, while Sydney wore a dark top, jeans and thigh-high boots.
Us Weekly reached out to both stars’ representatives for comment.
Braun and Sweeney were initially seen spending time together over the summer when they both attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s lavish wedding celebration in Venice, Italy. They were photographed walking around in Venice one day before the star-studded ceremony took place. (Kris Jenner and the Kardashians, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Brady, Orlando Bloom and Andrew Garfield were all in attendance to see the Amazon executive chairman exchange vows with his longtime partner in June.)
Us learned exclusively earlier this month that Sweeney is “not exclusively dating anyone right now but is having fun with Scooter.”
“It is not serious,” an insider told Us. “[Sweeney] is dating around and in her single era without having any pressure.”
The source added that Braun is “very into” Sweeney and “has been trying to see her in between her work commitments.”
The casual relationship is certainly Braun’s most high-profile romance since he finalized his divorce from his ex-wife, Yael Cohen, in 2022. Braun and the health activist were married for seven years and share three children: Jagger, 9, Levi, 7, and Hart, 5.
Braun recently opened up on Steven Bartlett‘s “Diary of a CEO” podcast about how he struggled with his mental health as his marriage broke down.
“I had a suicidal thought for 20 minutes where I was like, ‘If my marriage is going to fall apart, I’m not gonna be with my kids all the time. I can’t control this. I’m not gonna be this perfect image that I’ve presented to the world. And if I can’t be this perfect image, I don’t want to be here,’” he remembered in June. “It went to a very dark place.”
Braun clarified that he almost immediately recognized that he wasn’t thinking clearly and sought help for his mental health.
“That’s not me. I would never leave my kids. I don’t wanna leave anybody. Like what was that? The next morning a friend of mine called and I told him about that night before. He called me back with another friend and they said, ‘You need to go to Hoffman [Institute Foundation],’” Braun explained. “They told me that they could get me in two weeks because there was a cancellation.”
Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber’s former manager has faced other major changes in his life over the past few years, including announcing his retirement from music management entirely in June 2024. (Braun remained as CEO of entertainment company Hybe America.)
“23 years ago a 19 year old kid started managing an artist named Cato in Atlanta, GA, and my journey began. Along the way I have had so many experiences I could never have dreamt of,” Braun announced at the time.
Braun went on, “I have been blessed to have had a ‘Forrest Gump’-like life while witnessing and taking part in the journeys of some of the most extraordinarily talented people the world has ever seen. I’m constantly pinching myself and asking ‘how did I get here?’ And after 23 years this chapter as a music manager has come to an end.”
Meanwhile, Us exclusively reported in March that Sweeney ended her engagement to her ex-fiancé, Jonathan Davino, after seven years together, with a source revealing: “Sydney and Jonathan are officially split … [She is] telling friends she is single.”
Sweeney and Davino were partners professionally as well as personally, as they produced the actress’ 2024 horror blockbuster, Immaculate.
