Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun enjoyed a date night full of laughs. The couple was spotted at The Laugh Factory in Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 28, for Matt Rife’s comedy tour, per The Hollywood Reporter. The outlet reported that Sweeney, 28, and Braun, 44, arrived at the venue with a group of friends and sat in the VIP section. Rife’s friends Jackson McQueen and Erik Griffin served as openers. During McQueen’s set, he joked about having a broken engagement and getting back into the dating pool. (Sweeney was previously engaged to Jonathan Davino. Us Weekly reported in March that the duo called off their wedding and split after seven years of dating.) Sweeney and Braun held hands under the table and sipped on water as McQueen continued with his jokes. Once McQueen was done, Griffin took the stage. His set included jokes about Sweeney’s hit TV series Euphoria. He brought up her character, Cassie, and joked that her “titties are always out.” “She’s at the pharmacy and her titties are out — it’s wild,” McQueen quipped. “For no reason.” According to THR, Sweeney doubled over in laughter at the reference to her role. Braun and additional members of their party also had a few laughs. Rife later took the stage for his set. His jokes did not include any mention of Sweeney and Braun. At the end of the show, the couple made a beeline for the door and exited the venue. Braun and Sweeney were first spotted together in June as they were both guests at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding in Venice, Italy. They were photographed together walking around the city one day before the ceremony. Three months later, Sweeney and Braun were seen together again out for a romantic dinner at the Italian restaurant Jon & Vinny’s in Brentwood, California. A source told Us at the time that Sweeney was “not exclusively dating anyone right now but is having fun with Scooter.” “[Sweeney] is dating around and in her single era without having any pressure,” the insider added, also noting that Braun is “very into” the actress and “has been trying to see her in between her work commitments.” While Sweeney and Braun seemed low-key at first, their relationship started to heat up in October. “They are dating and it has become more serious. Still not putting a label on it, but Sydney has been having a lot of fun with Scooter,” a source exclusively told Us at the time. “It has been low-pressure for both of them and has been a different relationship for Sydney. Scooter has introduced her to new perspectives, especially when it comes to business.” The insider shared that Braun has “opened [Sweeney’s] eyes to opportunities and ways of thinking she hadn’t considered before.” “Sydney has been soaking up the knowledge he brings from working across so many different sectors and industries, and she truly admires the level of experience and insight he has,” the source explained. “Beyond the business side, she respects his drive and ambition, which has inspired her in her own life.”
