Swimming: Taylor White Wins 500 Yard Race Bermudian swimmer Taylor White led the Bentley University women’s swimming and diving team in their season-opening tri-meet at Wheaton [Mass.], securing an individual victory as the Falcons recorded a split in a pair of duals. Bentley defeated Wheaton College 167-118 but fell narrowly to Wellesley College 169.50-116.50 in the tightly contested matchups. White delivered the team’s top performance, claiming a major win in the Women’s 500 Yard Freestyle. She touched the wall in 5 minutes, 21.67 seconds. The Bermudian athlete maintained her strong form in the Women’s 100 Yard Backstroke, finishing second with a time of 1:01.23. White also swam the leadoff leg for the Bentley Women’s 200 Yard Medley Relay ‘A’ team, which placed fourth in 1:53.89.
