Swastik launches FAST channel for cultural storytelling

TIL CreativesRepresentative Image Swastik Stories has launched what it says is India’s first cultural storytelling FAST (Free Ad Supported Streaming TV) channel, available on JioTV, LG, Xiaomi TV and RunnTV. The service will stream free, ad supported content and claims an initial combined reach of more than 50 million users across digital and Connected TV platforms.Known for television titles such as Mahabharat, RadhaKrishn and Porus, the company is positioning the new channel as an extension of its long running focus on Indian history, culture and mythology. The FAST format allows viewers to access curated programming through smart TVs and digital devices without subscription fees. Swastik Stories says it expects the channel to reach 90 percent of Connected TV households by March 2026.The first original on the channel is Hamara Vinayak, a short format series that will premiere on October 31. New episodes will drop every Friday on the Swastik Stories YouTube channel, followed by same day availability on the FAST channel. Each episode will run 10 to 12 minutes, a format aimed at digital audiences who prefer shorter viewing durations.Siddharth Kumar Tewary, Founder and Chief Storyteller of Swastik Stories, said, “Swastik Stories is about giving Indian culture a new rhythm in the digital age.
