It’s never too early to start planning some festive days out , with Christmas closer than you think. The Swansea Christmas market and Waterfront Wonderland dates have now been confirmed, so if you are based in or around the city, then this might be music to your ears if you’re looking to get some Christmassy dates in the diary. The Swansea Waterfront Wonderland will run from Friday, November 21, 2025 , to Saturday, January 4, 2026 . The city centre Christmas markets will run from Saturday, November 29 to Monday, December 22 . And the Swansea Victorian Christmas Fayre which is coming to the city centre for the first time is scheduled for Thursday, November 20, to Sunday, November 23, 2025. Never miss a Swansea story by signing up to our newsletter here It will include a mix of artisan market stalls, delicious street food and festive entertainment, with free entry and is delivered in partnership with Swansea Council and organised by LSD Promotions. Organisers are also promising “costumed traders, live music, family-friendly performances and a welcoming, nostalgic atmosphere that captures the spirit of the season”. If you’re heading to the Waterfront Winterland, then you’ll be glad to know that there are some exciting features on the site again this year and a number of exciting attractions. These include the likes of the undercover ski rink, the alpine bar and also the funfair and big wheel. The Bavarian Bar area also offers sheltered, cosy seating, deluxe hot chocolates and warming mulled wine. The Caroler’s Cabin will be used for the entertainment programme, including groups such as school choirs for the duration of the Christmas Market. And when it’s not being used for performances, visitors will also be able to step into a sparkly Santa scene and take a family photo. The Cardiff Christmas markets are also confirmed to open on Thursday, November 13, and close on Tuesday, December 23.
