Leaving a deep void in the entertainment industry, veteran actor Satish Shah passed away on October 25 at the age of 74. Renowned for his impeccable comic timing and memorable performances across film and television, the actor reportedly succumbed to kidney failure. Before being rushed to the hospital, the Sarabhai vs Sarabhai star was found unresponsive. Despite sustained CPR and the best efforts of the medical team, Satish Shah could not be revived. The news of his demise has left the entertainment industry in shock, with colleagues, fans, and friends paying their heartfelt tributes to the actor. Expressing deep sorrow over the loss, he dropped a video on the platform with the caption, “Sad and shocked to inform you that a well-known actor and a great human being Satish Shah passed away an hour ago due to kidney failure. When the ambulance reached their residence, the actor was “unresponsive” and even after continuing CPR, “Mr Shah could not be revived.” On Sunday, Satish Shah’s funeral was held at Pawan Hans Crematorium in Mumbai, where friends, relatives and coworkers gathered solemnly. A prayer meeting was organised on October 27 at Jalaram Hall, Juhu, where loved ones gathered to pay their final respects.
