    Sufi Motiwala Gets Candid About Debut Role In Do You Wanna Partner, Says 'Had Most Fun'

    Content creator and reality TV star Sufi Motiwala is all set to make his acting debut in the web series Do You Wanna Partner. The show also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Diana Penty in the lead role. Well, recently, in conversation, he opened up about his acting and his role. He is essaying the role of Firdaus (Firo), a bold and unapologetic character he describes as “a fierce little diva.”
    “I never thought I wanted to be an actor, but when I was asked to audition, I did it. I didn’t think I was stepping into such a gigantic world where every detail is so meticulously placed. I put in all that I knew at the age of 20, and I genuinely had the most fun 25 days on set,” he shares.
    Known for his self-deprecating humour and brutal honesty, Sufi doesn’t shy away from reflecting on the irony of his public image. “I’ve always been called the meanest person alive, yet I’ve always wanted to please people and be their favourite. That’s who I am — a people-pleaser girl, still figuring out where I fit in,” he admits. But if there’s one thing he’s sure of, it’s that his younger self wouldn’t believe how far he’s come. “When I was 16, crying in the car because my therapist outed me to my family, I never dreamt that by 21 I’d be an actor, reality star, and content creator.     With Do You Wanna Partner, Sufi promises to deliver his signature blend of vulnerability and fire. And true to his style, he has one request for viewers: “Plis watch the show, plis tell me what you hate, what you love — I’m ready for all of it.”
    Tamannaah Bhatia, Diana Penty And Nakuul Mehta’s Banter Amid Promotions
    The promotions of the upcoming web series, Do You Wanna Partner, featuring Tamannaah Bhatia, Diana Penty and Nakuul Mehta, are going on in full swing. Co-directed by Collin D’Cunha and Archit Kumar, the show is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and will be streaming on Prime Video from September 12. Ahead of its premiere, the lead cast of the show was snapped outside Excel Entertainment’s office in Mumbai and their fun banter left everyone in splits.

    Apart from the trio, the show also features Jaaved Jaafri, Neeraj Kabi, Shweta Tripathi and Sufi Motiwala in pivotal roles.
    It follows the story of two best friends, Shikha (Tamannaah) and Anahita (Diana), who launch their own craft beer brand, navigating the challenges of a male-dominated industry, business hurdles, and unexpected threats from gangsters and fraud. The comedy-drama explores themes of female friendship, ambition and entrepreneurship.

    Apart from this, Tamannaah will also be seen in the thriller film, Vann: Force of the Forest, with actor Sidharth Malhotra. Helmed by Deepak Mishra, known for Panchayat, the shooting of the film is underway. Besides this, she also has director Rohit Shetty’s upcoming biopic drama with John Abraham. Diana, on the other hand, will also be seen in the courtroom drama film, Section 84, with Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Banerjee.
