Veteran actor Satish Shah, popularly known for his performance in shows like Sarabhai vs Sarabhai and Main Hoon Na, died on October 25 due to kidney failure. He was 74. The heartbreaking news of his demise was confirmed by filmmaker Ashoke Pandit, leaving the entertainment industry in mourning. His last rites were held at Mumbai’s Pawan Hans crematorium on October 26, where several renowned Bollywood and Television personalities arrived to pay their final tribute to the renowned actor. We were in the same batch at the FTII… Rakesh Bedi, Om Puri, and Suresh Oberoi were also with us in the same batch… He was an exceptional actor and human… He was always jolly and had a great sense of humour… He left too early. Ashoke Pandit revealed that Satish Shah died from kidney failure. His health deteriorated at home, and he was taken to Hinduja Hospital. He died in the hospital. Pandit described it as a massive loss to the film and television industries. Satish Shah’s Prayer Meet Sarabhai vs Sarabhai producer, JD Majethia, took to Instagram and shared that the actor’s prayer meet will be held today, October 27, at the Jalaram Hall in Juhu, Mumbai.
