ST. LOUIS - Widely known for its passionate fans and culture, a new study suggests that St. Louis is among the best cities to enjoy a game in the ballpark. Wallethub recently published a study that places St. Louis among the best baseball cities in America. The list considers more than 30 factors, including the city's ranking in the MLB, popularity, and stadium. Wallethub ranks St. Louis as the fourth best baseball city out of more than 330 cities listed in the report, receiving a total score of 46.2. Within the total score, St. Louis ranked high in several factors, such as being ranked the best midsized baseball city, coming second in its MLB score, second in the most accessible MLB stadium, and second with the most engaged fans. According to Wallethub, New York was ranked the best baseball city, followed by Los Angeles, Atlanta and St. Louis, respectively. Jersey City, NJ, Las Cruces, NM, and Macomb, Ill. were among the worst baseball cities in the country, according to the list.
