Students receive degrees at Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology graduation

Over 450 students received their degrees at the 22nd Graduation Day of Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology (AVIT), Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation (VMRF) on Saturday in Chennai.

Encouraging the graduates to embrace lifelong learning Srimathi Shivashankar, corporate vice-president, said that adaptability in a rapidly changing world and shared insights on how technology and innovation can be harnessed to solve real-world problems and drive inclusive growth.

Raushan Kumar, the academic topper of B.E. Computer Science and Engineering was presented with the Dr.A. Shanmugasundaram Gold Medal. A total of 35 proficiency awards were presented to the University rank holders and other academic toppers.

J. Janet, principal, AVIT, P.S. Balaganapathy deputy director, department of management, Anuradha Ganesan, vice president, Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation, J. Suresh Samuel, member, executive council, VMRF-DU, L. Prabhu, vice-principal (Admin), AVIT and Dr. S.P. Sangeetha, Vice-Principal (Academics), AVIT also spoke on the occasion.
